I am getting a Site Unavailable message after creating a DNN site locally, then ftping up to my (easycgi) hosted site. The site works locally and installed correctly, but doesn't work when copied up.  Any help very gratefully received....this is my last go at getting a DNN install before I give up and go back to PHP.

At the risk of pssng off everyone and not getting any answers: I am dissillusioned with DNN and specifically it's lack of database choice.  I can't get SQLExpress database file working at all and I would have expected at least MySQL.  It seems (to me) as if DNN will never succeed where PHPNuke etc have since it requires too much proprietory server software to get it going.  Is there any chance of someone developing a "single portal" version instead of a "multiple hosts" version, so n00bs like me can just unzip, config, ftp, WORKS!?

Please, prove me wrong and help me get an install working.

Steps taken so far:

Unzip dnninstall to local c:
Set file/folder security for ASPNet id (and I added Network Service as well...not sure thats necessary?)
Create new Virtual Folder in IIS, set all properties (r/w/e etc)
Create SQLServer Express login for ASPNet id
Rename release/config to web.config

Navigate to localhost/dotnetnuke

Site config runs succesfully and presents me with a site I can use (locally!)

Fire up FTP, copy everything to my hosted site into a DotNetNuke folder off the root.  Set this folder as an ASP application through easycgi's web FTP application.

Browse to www.bluechippy.co.uk/DotNetNuke bounces on to http://www.bluechippy.co.uk/DotNetNuke/Install/UnderConstruction.htm

This site is currently Unavailable

Please check back later
