SSL in DNN 4.5.3

Hi all,

I am using DNN version 4.5.3 and need to use SSL on that website. Is it possible to use SSL in DNN 4.5.3?

I have installed a certificate from a CA and when I am starting a standard ASP.Net application, it works. So I think the certificate configuration is correct. I can start it over https.

But on my DNN portal I am recieving the message that not all parts of my site are secure. In DNN4.5.4 there should be SSL support, but is there any way in DNN 4.5.3?

Why don't you simply upgrade to DNN 4.5.5 or later?

Hi again,

I can't. The project is used by many developers and it is not easy to say I like to upgrade while others are also using the same framework. Did you recommend this, because it is not possible to use SSL in 4.5.3?

you can, if you use it on all pages, which may decrease performance.

When I try to start my portal, I am recieving the error that not all elements of the page are secure. What have I to set up to be able to use DNN 4.5.3 Portals with SSL?
