Is there any status on this?

This issue is causing all sorts of trouble all over (Wikis Forums, profile) and seriously harming the reputation of DotNetNuke.

How do you explain to people that they just lost all of their work because they used a space/p or that they used the word "a l e r t" in their text?

It's like playing scrabble with dominoes.

DNN module development/progress is extremely uneven. It can be months and months and months before a given module is updated.

I got sick of the buggy features in the newer fck flavors... I don't know if the bugs are caused by FCK itself or the integration with DNN... don't really care anymore. When you spend  time teaching clients/users how to update their site... then an upgrade starts adding non-breaking spaces... and unwanted <p> tags so much so that it beaks tables and blows up black <td>'s —It really make them lose faith in the product.

I finally just installed Cute Editor for DotNetNuke - quick install and no added tags more features out of the box as well.

Commercial it is, and it probably works better than the numerous problems people are experiencing with the bugginess of DNN's FCKEditor setup.

Commercial modules are usually required to overcome DNN's inconsistent/weak module features/development or other numerous module weaknesses.

Thank you, Tom
