Hello,  I have not worked on my site in a while and got a new computer.  Therefore lost all my password info.  When I tried to log in to my site it wouldn't let me.  I tried all possible IDs and passwords that I could have used but I still can't log in.  What do I do now?  Is there any way to override anything?  Please help.

Thanks, H.W.

if you have access to the database, use the following receipt: http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/183/Default.aspx

Thanks Sebastian.

I went to the mssql manager on my hosting company but wasn't able to do what your instructions called for.  When you say if I got access to the database, what do you mean by that?  How would I get into the database and then to the portal and registration where enter value 2?  Could you walk me through it, please?

Thanks,  H.W.

you will need to have some sort of mssql manager tool in your control panel. If you can't see somethign like enterprise manager, then what you are seeing is probably just a tool for creating and removing databases. Ask your host if there is a tool that lets you access the database tables.

Then the info Sebastian provided shoudl make more sense.

Ok, I went in, as I mentioned before, but there is no column called "Registration" under the "Portals" table.  I went through everything.  Can you walk me through please?  How or where can I find that registration column?  Thanks for your help.
