I would like the United States to be set as the default country on user registration page so that users do not have to scroll through all of the countries (all of my users are in the US).  Anyone know how to do this?  Thanks much.

I think this is meant to be set based on the IP address of the person registering the user. I don't find it very reliable, and I'd certainly be interested in a reliable way of pre-setting it since 99% of my users are UK based.

I hadn't thought about it being based on the IP address, though I guess that could be the case.  Either way, there must be a way to make the registration default to the US....possibly someone with some coding or programming experience could make a suggestion?
