Hello, can someone please provide more details about what is needed to create a child and/or parent portal.  I've read & tried the normal process to create either portal type while logged in as host.  After the system seems to create the portal, the browser attempts to display the new portal, but I get a page not found error.  Then going back into Host, Portals, I can see the new portal listed, but its empty.  No files... nothing.  And the alias doesn't work. Is this normal?   I've also tried creating a virtual directory in IIS that matches the portal alias, but that didnt work either.

Perhaps there is something wrong in my machine/setup?  I'm running W2K3 with .net framework 1.1 & 2.0 installed and DNN v3.2.2   I've read & re-read this: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/TID/52/cid/46/Default.aspx but its not working as advertised....

There is either some extra steps needed .... or perhaps my config isn't right...?
Any tips appreciated...  Thanks

dbhertel,

Just wondering if you have resolved the issue? I'm getting the same problem.

Cheers,
