Hi,

I have a user that has edit access to pages. Is it possible to restrict which modules they (or a group) can add to the page? I only want them to add the HTML module and some others.

Thanks

simon

I don't believe so, other than removing the modules from the host.

I wish. The only out of the box solution is to make the modules "premium" in the module definitions. That is a one size, fits all solution and only allows host level users to add premium modules to a page.

There is a third party module out there that does restrict modules by role. The name escapes me however..

Portal Managed Desktop Modules (available on Snowcovered) is probably what you're looking for.

I also have one available on my site that can do this and a bit more.
