I have a 2.1.2 and a 3.1 that each have several  portals. How can I best merge all of these to a v4 instance? I know most if not all my 3rd party mods will break and I will work around that part. Its mostly the core stuff and users and roles that concern me.

The first hurdle is just the update from the 2.1.2 version... I'd start there.  Once you have two 3.x versions to work with, it will be a little more straightforward ( although merging DB's is never "simple" ).

Cheers

Yeah, thats the part I am most worried about. I could concievably stay in the 3X version path, but I would still need to know after upgrading the 2.1.2 to 3.x (not terribly difficult) how to merge to 3.x instances on different machines into one.
