Hello,

I am trying to create several identical skins as the ones instaled with dnn except with different colors. I have changed the gradient_DkBlue and gradient_LtBlue files to like gradient_DkGreen and LtGreen. The only problem is when selecting a menu item the blue still shows up under the selected menu item. Where can I set that color or jpg?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Fig

Are you using Solpartmenu or dnnNAV?

Try to set your background-color to none, see if it helps!

Sorry - Newbie to all this DNN stuff. Not sure which I am using. Whatever was installed with dnn 4.05. Is this located somewhere in the menu list under admin or host? Is there a file that list all the color properties in the portal/default directory?

Thanks again (in advance)

You can download John Henning's document here:

It's pretty helpful!

It's not something you can change from your site under Amin or Host menu, it's the styles you set in your skin.css file when you skin a design. The above document should be helpful in customizing your dnnNAV.

Thanks

Found how to change the color by editing the skin.css

Here is an example of what I did

}

.main_dnnmenu_itemhover {
 background-color: Green;                                            /* #8da4d3; */
}

Ok - so how do I find out what #8da4d3 color is? Do these numbers and letters stand for anything. I would like to create a different shade of green than just the regular green. So I guess I need to know how to change a color I like into the number sceme above??

Thanks
