Hello all!

On my DNN 4.7 installation I have the problem that the MSSQL database stops logging me in, resulting in that the site ofcourse is down.
Have not been running this version from the beginning, but been upgrading as new became available.

My hostingprovider sayes that it is the password to the MS SQL database that keeps beeing changed. And that there must me something wrong with the code. They say that it is the code that keeps changing the password??

Is this possible?

How do I in that case turn this "feature" off?

It is NOT the database string in the web.config that gets changed, but the actual password to the MS SQL database on the database server.

Regards Dan

I am not aware of any procedure changing database passwords inside DotNetNuke. Are you sure, that the database password is affected?

My hosting provider sayes that the password keeps changing, and that it must be something in the code that does it. As there is nothing wrong with his MSSQL server.

I dont know if it is possible, and therefore the question.

I did not either think it was in the DNN
