Hi guys, I can understand the co-existence of both display name and user name in the register module but how can I disable the display name in the register page or force the users for a unique display name? Can this be done in the portal level or only in the database level? thanks SV

In User Management, "User Settings" you can specify, how the Displaystring is created. if this is enabled, the displaystring cannot be edited.

Hi Sebastian,

can you be more specific?I went to user settings and the only thing I

noticed is the requiresuniqueemailaddress which somehow is relevent to my task.

I need either:

to disable the display name or

make display name = username

(0ne alternative is to make display name unique)

can this be done?
