I have searched the forums looking for an answer to this.  I have found lots of helpful posts but for some reason I just can't this working.

I am converting an HTML site to DNN.
The site is setup with subfolders for each page which contains an index.htm.  so there page links that exist in google etc are :

Domain.com/BookCliffs
Domain.com/Fishing

I want to redirect them to my internal pages in the new DNN site.:

Domain.com/Adventures/Destinations/BookCliffs.aspx
Domain.com/Adventures/Fishing.aspx

This is what i have tried:

 <RewriterRule>
<LookFor>.*/Fishing</LookFor>
<
SendTo>~/Adventures/Fishing.aspx</SendTo>
<
RewriterRule>

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

<RewriterRule>
<LookFor>.*/BookCliffs</LookFor>
<SendTo>~/Adventures/Destinations/BookCliffs.aspx</SendTo>

RewriterRule>

Thanks for the idea Slavic.   I was hoping to solve this using the SiteUrl.config but maybe it is not possible.  If I can't get it to work your idea will solve my issue.

Greetings Larry ~

The trick is understanding "regular expressions" a bit... that is what's going on there.  It might help to get ahold of a tool to help perfect your regex strings (I am a personal fan of The Regulator).  It takes a little bit of trial and error but you can do almost anything with it.

Cheers,
Scott
