I am running 4.6 and did not experience any problems with performance until I started adding a lot of content. I have, with help been able to pin it onthe fact that IE does not support hover styles on non a href tags so modules like HouseMenu use a soft hover. Also affected is my solpartmenu. If viewed on firefox there is no slow down at all so I know its not a server ram issue or anything like that. I tried a fix to change the soft hover to a visible/ hidden status but it is still pretty slow, maybe just as slow as before.  I was just curious what other people are using for fly-out navigation on large sites? Or if they were able to fix house menu or adapt a stock menu?
Thanks
Mike
