Hello<

i have the newest version of DNN and noticed there wanst any image galleries in the mod list. what i was wondering is can any one send me some links to free image gallery. i wanted to set up a video game screen shot section! yea that'd be cooool ;)

There's a free Gallery module downloadable from http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Projects/ModuleGallery/Downloads/tabid/861/Default.aspx. Also, the DNN Community Modules page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Modules/tabid/794/Default.aspx) has a bunch of modules in the "Photo Album" category - some of them could be free as well.

on the first link for the galler it looks great and install fine but when i click on add a file or any other option i get an error

Grab Ventrian's cheap subscription and get Simple Gallery. It's just so much slicker than the freebies. Another good one is Bizmodule's Ultra Media Gallery, but for a screenshot archive I think Simple Gallery would be nicer as UMG embeds everything in flash. That said, Simple Gallery hasn't yet got comments and ratings and although they're on the roadmap, it may have a bearing on your immediate choice.

The gallery module has now become the Repository module.  More flexible and has a gallery template available.  Handles any file type.
