In googling for an answer on this I've found a few threads but no answers.

Checked out Gemini but I don't see the issue listed, and even after registering it won't let me post a  bug/issue report.  Where is the correct place to report it to get a resolution?

I suspect it may relate to a missing module in the update package as most people who are reporting it did an upgrade rather than a fresh install.

Make sure you're in the DNN Core Public section as that's the only place you can post. 

This is definitiely a new bug in 4.7 and loads of people have it..... just need to get it noticed.

I am having this exact same issue --- and yes, I do the"upgrade" route as well.

Thanks John for reporting this issue to Gemini.  I see it was upgraded to be reviewed by the core team.

FYI: not just a 4.7 issue...

Just finished installing brand new installation of 4.8.0 and this error was sitting where the typical "insecure host" password message sits on the first look of the newly installed portal.
