So what can be done to get the Core Team to officially consider this? 

My only idea so far is to begin by asking the DNN community to begin refactoring classes and providers with string concatenation updates.

I am not sure what the best practice is....the only thing I can say is that if you know of a true problem area, possibly fix-up the code and post it in Gemini...

Or maybe submit a ticket for specific occurances where you know it is a major performance hit.
