Can you email anything from the DNN Instance (i.e. Bulk Email to your registered users - see Admin Menu)?

I have tested these functions with the latest version and they work on my test machines...I'm not sure if others are having the same issue.

Hi.  The notification feature worked successfully for me. Thanks for the Beta5 update!

Yes, I can use the "Admin -> Newsletters" module successfully.  Also, when I go to the page where I approve or deny users that have requested to attend an event, the email gets sent successfully.

It's when I go into the properties of an event and try to send an email message using the settings within the "Enrollment Settings" section.  I can't get the email to work from here.

I suspect that I've made a mistake.  What would you recommend that I try next?

Thanks,
Van

I have the same problem, with the notification within the Enrollments Section.  I have installed Beta 5, checked that I have a scheduled job running etc... not sure where the missing link is at.

Not sure if this has any impact on this issue, but am noting as other mods I had installed in the past have had issues, my site uses qualifiers for all of my tables, views, sproc's defined during installation e.g.  MyPortal_TableName, MyPortal_StoredProcedureName etc....versus no qualifier from a vanilla install.

Thanks in advance...

There was a problem w/the enrollments email...I have it fixed in the latest version.  All other notification functions were tested and built using DNN Qualifiers and this will be fully supported.

Alan:

Howdy.  If I'm understanding your previous post correctly, there aren't any problems with sending email messages to enrollees via the "Enrollments Settings" section of the event properties within the Beta 5 version.  If I'm misinterpreting your previous post, please set me straight.

If this is the case, I probably have something misconfigured.  Again, I can send email from the "Admin -> Newsletters" module in DNN.  Also, I can send email from the page where I can approve or deny enrollees for a given event.  I am also receiving notifications successfully.  These facts lead me to believe that it's not an SMTP configuration issue.

Also, it appears that RedBrook might be in the same boat as me.    RedBrook used qualifiers for his/her site.  I haven't used any qualifiers in my site.  I realize that this should be a moot point because you mentioned that the module supports qualifiers without a problem.

What other detail might RedBrook and I still be overlooking?

Thanks,
Van
