Hi there,

please forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before(and would appreicate if someone could point me to the right thread) - but I am trying to customize the registration process in DNN.  DNN has several registration option: public, private, verify, etc.  basically want i want to do is, i want to make the registration using both public and private format - based on whatever the user provided. e.g. when someone click on register, the username and email information would check against a customized table's data and if it's fullfill the criteria, the user can get registered immediately; else, would become 'private' and need system admin to review.

i looked around and found there's a register.ascx.vb under admin/security and there seems to be a method in the subroutine to making the registeration determination. i tried to re-write that part of the logic but it doesn't seem like has any effect and i concluded i probably was looking at the wrong page of codes.

Could someone pls enlighten me on this?  many thx!
