As part of a module I'm developing to maintain a WoW guild character list, I need to crawl some XML data on Blizzard's servers.

I have the service, and everything goes pretty well. What I am trying to do is make things a bit more intuitive for the users. I have a control panel for the module to allow the admin users to look at data load information, errors encountered by the module (allowing the admin to find issues that weren't low-level enough enough to get placed in the portal log, but not high-level enough to get raised up to the web-browsing user), and I would like to also surface information about the scheduler service:

  • Is the scheduled service installed?
  • Is it enabled?
  • When did it last run, and when will it run next?

Is there documentation around this namespace? Or is there some help/resources on interacting with Scheduler services via the DNN API?

Thanks in advance,
Cliff

I can obviously get this information from the database, but is it possible to get to the information via the DNN API? I see a bunch of classes within the DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling namespace, but I've been having some issues with what can be instantiated and what can't be.
