When I log out (and view as a visitor) pages of the website have the MODE: *View  *Edit options visible.  (not on the home page; just subsequent and newly created pages).  I've been working with DNN for many sites and haven't had this particular issue before.  The visitor is not actually able to select the Edit option - but it is showing just the same.  I normally don't have the MODE showing at the top of the page.  If you need to see this here is a link to one of the problem pages:  http://octa-com.web09.winsvr.net/Meetings/tabid/56/Default.aspx

This site isn't live yet.  Still working on the content, etc.  But would like to know where the option was (accidentally set) to create this issue.

Check your permissions for the page and the module. You haven't accidently given All Users Edit permissions have you?

Thanks and no.  Permissions to the pages are view only.  But you gave me an idea that perhaps a module on that page is view/edit.  So I'll double check that.  I'll return if that doesn't solve it.

Thanks Mike,

Although it wasn't a page-permissions issue, there was one module (appearing on all pages) that did have an edit permission selected.  So, guess I now know what happens when I do that?
