      I use version 04.07.00 and I don't have "Use Portnumber" in the appsettings. I've tried to add it both true and false - it doesn't help.

      "making the external portnumber the same as the internal portnumber" - can not be a serious and applicable solution for the issue. What if tomorrow I will have the environment where I won't have the possibility to do so? Anyway I can't do that in my environment right now.

   I saw in the debug - that it comes from proxy to iis - external ip + internal port number. So I added that to aliases (222.22.22.22:83) and now I can see the first page, but when I click anything with links it fails - 'cos now I got everywhere 222.22.22.22:83 in the addresses.

  I think that dnn should have some special tune for the port I can use (33 instead of 83 in my case).  Is that the "Use Portnumber" you wrote me about? In what version is it available? What is the syntax to use it?

The syntax is

<add key="UsePortNumber" value="true" />

It should be part of the 4.7.0 web.config, but perhaps you upgraded from a previous version and did not use the 4.7.0 web.config?
