Hi there!

I am still struggeling on my first day with dnn. i was doing some tutorials on how to generate a module with VWD 2005 Express Edition and succeeded in compiling and importing it on my running dnn webpage. two very interesting things occured though:

• My module gets inserted into the desired pane but doesn't contain any functionality (although generated according to http://adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN4%5FSurveyModule/Survey_Module2.htm and http://adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN_Module4/DotNetNuke_module_2.htm)
• When logged in as administrator all the other (previously by some colleagues installed) modules also appear empty.

I assume that one doesn't have anything to do with the other, but I can not find a reasonable explanation for either of the occurring problems.

I'd already be very glad if somebody could help me resolve the first problem (the fact that distributed modules appear empty after having them importet on my dnn webpage).

Great. The elder modules are now visible. Great catch.

Unfortunately the two modules from the tutorials I wanted to install are still empty. There has to be some flaw in the code or in the deployment method...

Any clues on that, maybe?
