Typical that the CBO class in previous DNN 4 versions could handle nullable fields! I understand your reaction that the CBO class isn't designed to handle every use case, but what's the reason te 'redesign' the CBO class in 4.8 so it can't handle nullable fields anymore?

Since the roll-out of DNN 4.8 we also have the same problem as El Barto.

To me it's a bug which is introduced in DNN 4.8.

I finally came around to implement the IHydratable interface for this problem. I thought to have solved the problem as suggested but immediately hit a new obstacle.

When implementing IHydratable you must implement the Fill method and the KeyID property. I found it hard to find any documentation on what the KeyID exactly meant. In the examples that I could find it returned the primary key value of the current record as an integer. I found this hard to believe as by far all tables have a single primary key of type integer. I found a blog on dotnetnuke saying indeed the KeyID is the primary key of the current record. I'm sorry to say but I think this is a mayor design flaw. By far all tables have a single primary key column of type integer. Any suggestion to work around this limitation is greatly appreciated as I can only come up with ugly solutions like, concatenate multiple integers. But even this ugly workaround does not solve the problem of non integer primary keys.
