Hello,

We just upgraded to 4.7 - almost all of our images became broken in the Text/Html module. The relative path looks like (/Portals/0/folder/image.jpg), but it is being replaced with  http://www.website.com/Portals/0///Portals/0/folder/image.jpg

I have searched the forums for a solution and have found that if you go to the "Show custom editor options" and then check "Full Image Path", that will fix the issue. GREAT! But......

I checked the Portals option and the checked the "Full Image Path", and checked apply. One would think that this would take care of all the modules for that setting. It did not. It only fixed that module. So I go to the next instance and follow the same path, what do you know it says that at the portal level this setting is applied - but for some reason it is ignoring it. SO I try it at the module level... it did not work except for that one module.  I am so completely frustrated - we have over 1000 pages with multiple modules on the page, and now I have to go to every one of them!? There has to be a better way. Can anyone help me?

PS. We do have direct access to our database - so if there is a solution that route I would welcome it as well.

Thanks in advance.

PG

when storing the custom FCKEditor settings, make sure to select the correct level (portal - module - instance).

Thank you for responding Sebastian.

However, that is what makes it so frustrating. I did select Portals the first time and it did not fix the Portal. I then tried Module and it only fixed that module not all of them. Is there something that I am missing to make that setting apply to all of the Text/Html modules?

Dear Lanaya

I need to ask: As I can read from you post... the problem appears after the upgrade.

is this happening inside the FCKeditor... or the content is isplayed as you said from the module that manages the content? (text/html, forum, etc)

I want to ask that because if the links are appearing like this without entering the FCKeditor, there is no way the editor could change that. The editor receives the user content and passes it to the module asking for that, then this module dicedes to save or to filter as the forum module does. so if this is the case, maybe you are looking for an answer in the incorrect forum

Also, is this behavior heppening on all module? or just text/html?

About the Full Image Path from the custom settings for FCKeditor. This was created to solve some problems with newslettermodules. This option tells the provider to complete the URL with the domain part to use the content outside DNN.

Please answer the questions and let's try to find where your problem is...fck or other.
