I shouldn't need it.  I'm not sure what's up with my site all of the sudden becoming a resource hog but I'm sure it can be fixed.

WebSecureStores has been good about kicking me out gracefully.  I'm going to head over to PowerDNN.  Apparently they're good with DNN sites and will be able to stabilize or troubleshoot the DNN issues.

I'll post much more detailed about the experience this weekend.

I would also recommend moving to 4.8.  It includes some performance updates that eases some memory consumption issues.

Joe are these improvements over 4.7.0?  It seems that 4.6.0 is ok, 4.7.0 uses more resources, was it again fixed in 4.8.0???

The crazy thing is...from my perspective...is that after hammering out the details of my leaving last night...the website starts running great.  I just don' t get it.  One second their software is shutting down my application every 45 seconds and the next the website is humming along and with virtually no errors in the event log.  Today was a miracle as I wait for my site files to be transferred to a new host.

Of course maybe WSS fixed something on my site...  Anyway, PowerDNN has an IIS Pool I can monitor so that's very very helpful.
