Hi all,

  I am working on a DNN skin. I had to make a small Javascript code inserted in the skin ASCX page, which applies "OnClientLoad". It uses "location.href" to retrieve complete URL address of the current page. I parse this string and extract the tabid number which is compared to specific homepage tabid. This script is needed in order to have different behavior for a 3rd party panelbar skniobject. I want that its three items to be collapsed on the first page and the first one to be expanded on my inside pages.

  My problem is that when the site is launched for the first time, I don't get in the address bar the complete link for the homepage (just like I obtain if I click on "First Page" inside my menu, and for any other page  inside my site).

   How can I set the homepage to be displayed with its full URL, so I can achieve my particular behavior for this page ?

Hey Alex,

If you have a host header set up in IIS for www.yourwebsite.com that covers the portion from initial request to your DNN site. But what happens next is it hits your site and takes a look at the matching portal alias.....point being -- if you remove www.yourwebsite.com and add www.yourwebsite.com/tabid/57/default.aspx as your portal alias instead -- I would expect your site to redirect to that URL. Give it a try and see if that works out for you.
