Hi Antonio,

I just noticed that when you click the "Print" button to display a blog, the "Written by" label is being displayed as the [USERNAME].  Should it be [DISPLAYNAME] instead?  By using username, half of someone's login credentials are already known which is a bit of a security concern.

Best regards,

Rod

Rod,

There is a setting in the blog settings section to display either full name or username. This screen (The print screen) should follow that setting, but it does not.

Could you submit this issue in Gemini (support.dotnetnuke.com)? I will try and fix it in the next release thanks.

Thanks Rod - that helps.

BTW, just so you know, I COULD log this myself, the only problem is that I will find myself logging tons of things for people; I'd rather be fixing things ;) . Besides, this way:

  1. You get to specify exactly what you are requesting - no miss-interpretations
  2. You ge to be notified on every change that the ticket goes through

Thanks again!

No worries Antonio - glad to help out and give a bit back to the DNN community.  It was actually good to visit Gemini, create an account and have a good look around the one of the engine rooms of DNN.  Interesting stuff.

I guess if more people submitted bugs, features and enhancements it would go a long way to making DNN an even better community run project.

Best regards,

Rod
