Hello fellow DNNers,

Can someone please help me understand exactly what the "Set as default settings" and "Apply to all modules" option do?  The tooltip say this

"Select this option if you would like the Page Settings for this module to be used as the default settings when adding new modules."

If you check this, does it apply the settings to all modules regardless of their type, or only to all modules of that module type.

eg.  If you are configuring a HTML/Text module and you check this checkbox, will it apply the common settings to every other module that isn't a HTML/Text module?

Best regards,

Rod

It will apply the "style" settings to ALL the current modules on your site. If you choose a container, then hit apply to all modules it will do that to all the module. It doesn't care what "type of module" the module is.
