Hi,

My portal was working fine when suddenly stopped working and it doesn't tell me the error.  When i go to my default page it only says:

DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.05.05

An error has occurred.
An error has occurred.

Return to site

The only hint of the error I have is found on the address bar where it says: http://localhost/AreaM/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Could+not+find+file+'c%3a%5cinetpub%5cwwwroot%5cAreaM%5cforecast.xml'.&content=0   When usually it would say http://localhost/AreaM/Default.aspx.    I've searched on other portals I have for a file named forecast.xml but I don't think is part of the dotnetnuke files.  Could someone please help me?

Thanx

Gab

the error would suggest that something on the page is looking for a file called forecast.xml in the root folder of your site. This is not a dotnetnuke core file so I'd expect it's needed by a 3rd party module, probably something like a weather forecast module. You will have to provide a new copy of this file or else remove the related module from the database to stop the page from crashing during load.
