Hi all

It worked fine under DNN 4.7.0 but since upgrade to 4.8.0 I was getting an exception from the events module.  Events 3.3.8

The site is just a test site so I removed the events module from the page and re-added it but now I have set the default view in the event module settings but it continues to use "Month" view regardless of the setting I choose.  Any ideas anyone?

I'm having a similar issue, but with DNN 4.5.5 and 4.7, so I'm not sure if it's really the same one as yours. To fix it, I close the browser window and re-open the page, and then the Events module shows the selected view.

Probable reason: the current Event view state seems to be held in the session state, and changing the default view doesn't seem to be updated there. But since normal users are not affected by this, I think it's a minor issue.

I had to reboot to install some hardware and it's now working, so no idea what was actually causing the problem...  but it's working now.
