When I receive an email from the feedback menu, it simply sends the email "from" the address specified in the host settings.   Shouldn't it be sent "from" the address specified in the feedback box?  If not, shouldn't that address be shown in the message?  Right now, when I receive a message from the feedback module, I have to log into the site and go into the moderation area to find the email address of the sender.

Am I missing some setting?

Thanks,
David

Yeah, unfortunately it's written that way. I was going to edit the source code and modify it, but I've not got VB.Net installed (I prefer to develop in c#). What you need to do though, is download the Feedback module sourcecode and edit that.

Hope that helps somewhat.
Dave.

Ahhhh...

My bad.

Looking into it a little more. If you don't put a from address (in the module feedback settings) then it'll use the address entered. So clear the Send From: address, and you'll be good to go.

Dave.
