We are using DNN version 04.06.02.  When you register for a new account, upon finishing, it does not automatically log you in.  We have a 4.05.?? installation and a 4.08.?? installation which that is the behavior is as we would expect, upon registering for an account the user is automatically logged in.   Is this some setting that we have failed to set?

Thanks in advance.

Can you check if you have the registration type of the portal set to Public? (in admin > site settings) If it is not set to public, you are not logged on automatically

Thanks for the quick reply.  It is set to public.  On the same installation of DNN, i created a child potal to create the same scenario.   All settings are the same as my troubled portal.  The only difference is I have my cart software on this portal.  It works on the new portal, but not on the original portal.  So, I am going to ask the shoppin cart  vendor.  Thanks anyway.
