Hi,

I'm developing a DNN module that has many references.  Currently I'm manually copying them into the /bin directory.

Is it possible to put these .dlls into a subdirectory? e.g.

/bin/mymodulebin

How are .dll references handled within a module package?  What's the DNN way of doing this?

Thanks

Colin

DNN does not currently support putting .dlls into a subdirectory in typical module development scenarios.  The DNN way is to put all of the .dlls in your package, and then reference them in your .dnn manifest as files.  DNN will automatically copy all .dll files referenced into the bin folder.

Hope it helps,

Great, that's the answer I was looking for.

AFAIK, (at least I haven't found any reference on the web), ASP.NET does not support sub-directories within /bin.
