Hi All,

We have a problem in setting up the DISPLAY Name for the FROM address in DNN.
Mail.SendMail("FROM@ADDRESS.COM", "TO@ADDRESS.COM", "", "THIS IS THE SUBJECT", "THIS IS THE MESSAGE BODY", "", "HTML", "", "", "", "" );

I.e Instead of FROM@ADDRESS.COM it should show like “YourDisplayName” like we have in OUTLOOK or any web mails.

We need them as soon as possible.

Any help would be much appreaciated.

Regards,
KishoreKumar.N

According to .Net related forum posts (though I have not tested it myself), you should be able to use

Mail.SendMail("Sender Name <FROM@ADDRESS.COM>", "Recipient Name <TO@ADDRESS.COM>", "", "THIS IS THE SUBJECT", "THIS IS THE MESSAGE BODY", "", "HTML", "", "", "", "" );

I am currently working on a new mail class for DotNetNuke, which will support autogenereated mail captions and include other enhancements as well.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
