I tried to install DNN4.8 in a different port in iis (other than 80, let's say 8181).

Installation went ok and everything worked fine. But when i checked out in the database I saw that in table PortalAlias there was not a reference to specific port. I expected to see mymachine.mydomain.om:8181/dnn4 but i saw mymachine.mydomain.com/dnn4.

The funny thing is that everything is working ok exept that you cannot create another parent or child portal, because the alias of the new portal is mymachine.mydomain.com/newportal and not mymachine.mydomain.com:8181/newportal.

What is happening? Can anyone explain?

In v4.8, there's a setting in the web.config for specifying a non-standard port.
