Hi,

When I:

1. Click "Add page" to add a new page and

2. "Create Module Definitions" on the "Module Definitions page under Host,

Nothing happens.

I therefore cannot add a new page to my site or add any custom modules I am developing for debugging.

I am developing a module using LINQ and C# using the tutorial at http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/LinqTutorial/Default.htm

Everything was working until I started developing a module based on the above tutorial.

Can anyone let me know how I can get this functionality back on my site.

I have repeated the tutorial many times and still have the same problem.

I have been able to isolate when the problem occurrs. It happens when I add a LinqDataSource to the page. If I add another control the site does not break. It only breaks when I add a LinqDataSource.

When I delete the module from my source code the site is still broken.

Any other suggestions.

Your suggestion has helped me find the solution.

Everytime I created the source code for a new module I would add the code you listed in your post above to the web.config file. But it seems that when I added a LinqDataSource and built the solution visual studio would add another assembly to the <assemblies> section of the web.config file as below.

When I deleted this assembly the site worked as normal.

Do you know why this happens and why it breaks the site?
