i created a UDT and all was working fine, but aparently last night i must have changed something and now in view mode i am unable to see teh edit, create, and delete links. Even if i check all the options in teh Basic Settings screen i am unable to see the links even if i am logged in as host or admin. I have no idea what i did. I do believe that it is something that was inherited from the page and not a module issue. What could the module inherit that would over ride the basic settings checked boxes?

thanks for any guidence.

make sure, you are not in preview or design mode (check options in control panel at the top of the page).
