Hi,

I'm rather new to asp.net programming, and im trying to work out how to modify the list display format of the control from the column format to a row format something like below:

<Event Name>
<Begin Date> to <End Date>
<Description>

with each event being listed below the previous one

Is anyone able to help me with this?  The standard list format is too wide for my liking

Thanks

Nigel

I can not really help, because I'm not that good in ASP.NET myself, but perhaps I can give you one or two hints.

Probably you have found the DesktopModules/Events/EventList.ascx file already, where the list view code is in.

The list is created with a <asp:datagrid>, and it's layout can be configured with item templates. Have a look at http://dotnetjunkies.com/Article/8F9AB317-1969-49FB-BC95-D2596BFDF5CB.dcik , and in special at figure 3 on that page.I think this figure shows a datagrid layout that could be a starting point for your work.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info Michael,

Definately looks promising.

I did manage to work out how to modify the format, but still not exactly what i want, but i am getting there.

Nigel
