Hi,

I am getting a lot of these errors in the event viewer and I think it has something to do with the permissions, does anyone know what this is. I upgraded from 4.6 to 4.8 and my login / logouts don't work plus some modules are a little erratic.

When I read this line from the error message :

Method: DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.Controls.ModulePermissionsGrid.GetUsers

Thanks
Vishal

Did you set the proper machineKey value in the web.config file?

Hi,

The machine key value is set correctly, I am not sure about the connection strings for the blog module ?
the connection string values are set to the same as they were before the upgrade, does the blog module need any special connection string ?

Thanks,

Vishal

Allrite, I have narrowed down a little futher, this happens when I edit the settings of a module and click on update. The page shows an error message "Object Reference not set" or something and the event log gives the following error. The funny thing is that it happens rendomly. If i try to do the same thing 3 or 4 times it works. Any suggestions
