Hi,

Is it possible to setup a birthday calender on DNN? My Boss would like to see the employees' birthday on the home page. e.g. for each day, display the person that is birthdaying and add a short birthday message on the home page.

Please assist urgently...

I don't know about a calendar per se, or what your options are, but what we did at one place was import a subset of the employee information into the DNN database, and I would in turn generate an XML file every Sunday.  I rendered this XML using XSLT and the XML Module.  It worked great!

Will the event calendar work for you?  Seems a natural to me.

I'm not sure if that will work, I have tested it. My Boss wants something like a short birthday wish message together with the person's name.

I haven't written it yet but will in the near future and you're more then welcome to it when I'm done.  We've got a profile property of birthday. On the view page it will show everyone's who's birthday is today.  In the edit mode a message is sent to everyone on that list.  Again I haven't written it yet but I should be done with it in about a week.
