If you want to do true streaming, particularly of live services, you will need to find a host that provides access to a streaming server.  For my church, I found that this would be too expensive.  Instead we settled on using the DNN repository module to provide "progressive" streaming - allowing the site visitor to either play or download an audio file (mp3).  You can try it out at http://www.bridgtonalliancechurch.org/Resources/SermonAudioClips/tabid/78/Default.aspx

I modified the "nifty video" repository template to include a smaller media player. This template is available (after registering) in the downloads section of my website http://www.wesnetdesigns.com. While you are there you might also be interested in the ePrayer module that I developed for tracking either on-site or via e-mail notification posted prayer requests and updates.  I will be uploading a revised version of this module in a few days that will allow for anonymous posting and correct several bugs.

i'm doing live audio streaming but it's kind of complicated.   what i did was (1) get a streaming service (i'm using a shoutcast server from Serverroom).  (2) bought Sam Broadcaster -- this is an awesome product.  (3) then i created a dnn module to read the stream and play it.  i'm leaving out some steps but that's the basic idea.
