I've noticed that the software will use a link url of www.domain.com/LinkClick.aspx?blahblah, which is different from the resulting page of www.domain.com/content1/article1.aspx. Because of this linking structure, non of those pages are being indexed. I also get 302 redirect error from Google webmaster tools for my sitemap.xml file.

Is there a way for the software to use the full url instead of making up a short one by it's self. Not very SEO friendly.

Maybe I should be asking what does everyone else do to get their pages indexed despite the 302 redirect warnings?

I hope some one can help me. I started going through all the pages and adding in the full url. Which defeats the whole purpose of having DNN installed. But I'm more worried about getting all my pages indexed than anything.

Im having similar problems.  I submitted my site to Google and getting 404 errors also.  One site I had no problems with the sitemap however, after it being indexed with google, yahoo and msn for well over 1 month the only pages that have been indexed are the home page which seems to me that the spiders cannot get through the solpart menu to the remaining pages?

I have given DNN over 3 months of 12 hours per day building up a site and learning the quirks of it but when it comes down to Site indexing and SEO we all need it to perform well especially after a lot of work has gone into it!  I have read that the solpart menu is a spider/bot killer and now looking to change it but too be honest all the changes I have gone through I am getting the feeling that this as well as Joomla and the likes are not quite ready for general consumption.

Does anyone have any practical theory on getting sites indexed well with DNN without having to rebuild or buy more modules etc?  Or would it just be easier to go back to HTML?

Well, I hand coded all the URL's. So the issue is fixed. Just can't use DNN for links anymore. I can't believe that no one else has the same problem. All these people with web pages that are not being indexed by Google. You guys must have done the same thing I did.
