Hi,

Is there is a definite plan in place to fix these Forums any time soon so that we can make new posts again? I am using this dummy account (I am RodneyJoyce from Smart-Thinker.com) but I would really like to use my normal account.

I wondering how many people are not posting on these forums and how many people make multiple accounts to get around it. For example, I used to make about 50 posts a month (usually helping other people I might add), and have not been able to post for almost 3 months from when the problem was first reported. I am not sure how many other people are not able to post (the solution in the post seemed to work for some users, but not for me).

Out of interest, I dug up some old DotNetNuke Newsletters (I am missing some) and grabbed the Total Forum Posts - it looks like there may be a relation to drop in posting since the bug was discovered. Any plans to fix it? (it's started happening on my portals too now).

Total Forum Posts, July 2007:  8,426
Total Forum Posts, September 2007:  6,762
Total Forum Posts, December 2007:  5,480    - Problem reported in mid November

Thanks,
Rodney

I never experienced this directly, but all of a sudden have - am no longer able to create a post.

The last thing I did was to select "

I used to experience this from time to time, but it has been a while.  I doubt this will work for you, but logging off and then logging back on normally fixes my account.

Oooo!!!  I just checked Gemini and all of the current roadmap issues are checked-in!  I hope that means that it will go back into the Release Tracker soon.

However, let's hope that this time the Release Tracker catches the show stopping issues we are experiencing right now.  The Release Tracker is still showing the most recent Forum release submission as being 4.04.03 (the current release).

I've meant to let you know that I love the username. Of course, am wanting to know what it truly means.

Logout/Login did nothing for me, still locked out (by error) on posting.

My username?  It is nothing special.  Just adapted from a nickname in high school.  It began as "Mighty Will".
