When I set the details of 'Selected Days' - to only show events in list view for a day or two beyond the selected date - it does not work and shows all events in existence. Alternatively, when I change the 'Select Number of Events' setting - and use the 'within the next x days' setting - it does not apply this setting and just shows the number of events specified.

Is this a bug..? Does the setting work for others?

Also - is there any other way to allow users to click on one day and see a list of all events on that one day?

I reported the 'Selected Days' option bug  to the bug tracker some days ago (DNNP-7027), but I didn't notice that the other option also does not work exactly as expected. I checked this with a recurring event, and you're right, the 'within next x days' value is ignored. Do you get this behaviour with one time events as well, or with recurring events only?

To your second question: not as far as I know, sorry.

[EDIT:]corrected typo.

[EDIT 2:] reported the "within next x days" issue to the bug tracker as well (DNNP-7071).

I hit that about a month ago when I was upgrading my sites to 4.8. It was a known bug at the time but no idea if or when it will be fixed. I'm unable to use the current EVents module because of it.

One time or recurring events. This looks like one of the key options/features of this module, why include the checkbox if it doesn't work?

What are the chances that this will be fixed anytime soon?

Has anyone taken a stab a fixing the source?
