Is there a way to display an excel file which resides somewhere on the corporate file system? I want to have a corporate folder which you can point the module to and enter the filename, and it will display the contents of the excel file on the screen. Is there a way to do this? Also, possibly for .pdf files as well. Please let me know if this is in any way doable or there is an existing module that can do this. Thanks.

Anyone?

IFrame can be used for this.

HOWEVER, if the file is in an actual network folder, rather than within the DNN site (or another website), you would only be able to view the file while connected to the corporate network (unless you create a virtual folder via IIS).

Yes, IFRAME did work.... I used a path like

file://fwblade001/files/bhoward/xxx.xls

And it worked fine and opened it in the iframe window perfectly..... However, I then upgraded my workstation to Office 2007 and then all of sudden, instead of opening it in the iframe window, it opens it into a new excel window separate from DNN.... Any ideas or solutions?
