First DNN site, first Wiki. I'm loving DNN, but the wiki has me baffled. I understand it's a fairly new release and documentation is slim. My XML skills are almost non-existent, but the wiki could solve some real issues for this site. I'd love to get it running.

Is there a sample XML file anywhere that I can use for a starter page? I'll "do my homework" to modify as necessary but need a place to begin. I'm want to do a wiki implementation of the Information & Referral records of a non-profit Crisisline.

Please help out a poor non-profit ... and me too :-)

I'm not sure what you need an XML file for to use the WIki?

I guess I'm showing my ignorance.

The wikis I've seen have a basic page format. I picture a basic format that shows an agency (name, addr, phone, etc) it's category and some information on services that agency offers. I have created many database maintenance forms, but am thinking that a wiki may be ideal for the ... er ... more informal, free-entry information that a local CrisisLine may want to keep on other agencies.

It is this semi-formal, informational layout I'm wanting to implement. I just don't see how that is done in the wiki. I thought this was XML based data with XSL based display. What am I mis-understanding?

How do I preset a basic page format for a wiki such as I describe?

The wiki doesn't have any formatting/templating options as of yet. Right now you would enter content into your Wiki page just as your would a forum post, through a WYSIWYG editor
