Adrian, do you have any way to do some debugging? I've never seen this error on any of the installs that I'm running the provider on so it'll be difficult for me to pinpoint what's causing the problem.

Mike, I've been trying to debug the exception that I mentioned in my earlier post but I can't find the source files containing the DotNetNuke.Security.Authenication.ASDI.Utilites namespace.

Can you point me in the right driection?

Kind regards,

Adrian Scott-Day

The source .vb are in the .resources file in the source download (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/Authentication/Downloads/tabid/852/Default.aspx). Just rename .resources to .zip and the Utilities.vb file is in the Providers/ADSIProviders directory.

Mike,

I've just tried opening the vbproj file from the source code for the Active Directory Service provider. But I'm getting an error saying that the project type is not supported by this installation.

I am using Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition.

That's what I use for development. Do you have the Visual Studio service pack installed?
