I need some help installing 4.8 source so I can start to make some DNN web projects.  I have downloaded the documentation but can find nothing about how to install or configure the source and do not see any installable part in the source files.  Can anyone help me here or point me to the right place?

Michael,

If you're just starting out - I'd suggest using the install version and not the source. You probably won't need the source version right off the bat.  I've found it best to minimize complexity in the beginning...

As for a tutorial, I'd suggest reading Michael Washington's blog post Setting-up Your DotNetNuke® Version 4 Development Environment using IIS.

Michael also has a ton of great tutorials/walkthroughs on his site: DotNetNuke HELP.

Take care,

Ian
