I'm installing DNN version 4.08.00 on a windows xp box with sql server 2005 on the same machine. I've created a user in sql server and connected as that user successfully.

When I access the http://localhost/DotNetNuke/Install/InstallWizard.aspx   page I see the welcome message along with the install option (3 radio buttons with custom, typical, and auto).

If I select any of these and click next the page just refreshes with the same content but doesnt throw an error message anywhere. Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Todd

i'd suggest it's a good idea to switch on javascript debugging just in case it's an issue there e.g. if using IE try tools->internet options and click the advanced tab and uncheck "disable script debugging". If that does not show anything then please try installing a http proxy such as httpfiddler(http://www.fiddlertool.com/fiddler/) to see what is going on under the covers, possibly it's a dns/iis issue.
