I installed 3.2.2 just fine.. Was very straight forward and easy.

I got the success screen, and subsequently clicked to goto portal, and in fact it came up. Problem is that the links do nothing when clicked. Although they display a seemingly proper path on the browser message line..

Was going to change Admin/Host passwords and figured that once i clicked login i'd be presented with the solution as to what the admin/host passwords are on install..

Any idea's on why the page / links are static and nothing appears in content area when any of the links are clicked? and once that is resolved whats the install PW for host and admin?

Thanks,

Jerrod

Note: that when clicking the links, the links change, but same page is displayed..

Home = /portal/Home/tabid/0/ctl/Login/portalid/0/Default.aspx
Register = /portal/Home/tabid/0/ctl/Register/portalid/0/Default.aspx
Login = /portal/Home/tabid/0/ctl/Login/portalid/0/Default.aspx
Terms of Use = /portal/Home/tabid/0/ctl/Terms/portalid/0/Default.aspx

Theres just not anything displayed in any of the top, left, bottom, right & content it appears.

Thanks again for your help!

Jerrod

Hmm very strange  I don't think i've seen this problem posted ever before..   Check that your SiteUrls.config file is there and looks "right" all the correct information in it and everything. There should be a copy in the config directory of the install package. Check that your directory permissions are correct too.

The default install passwords are admin / admin , host / host.

SiteUrls was there (see below), as well as a backup of it under a backups folder in the config directory: Checking the permissions to see if theres any issues there. I created the parent directory with proper permissions, so assumed that sub directories on FTp would be created with proper perms too.. will let ya know.

bin. Set the permissions to read and write
Portals. Set the permissions to
read, write and web
DesktopModules. Set the permissions to read, write and web

I'm utilizing a godaddy deluxe account, and you HAVE to setup every individule folder seperatly. I began setting up the folders under these with parent permissions, and after 20+ directories it was getting old so thought I would come back here to see if i was doing anything wrong so far.

ANYONE have any suggestions?
